GM Recognizes Lee Contracting for Two Consecutive Years

Pontiac, MI, May 20, 2019 – For the second year in a row, Lee Contracting has been named a GM Supplier of the Year by General Motors.

GM recognized 133 of its best suppliers from 15 countries who have consistently exceeded GM’s expectations, created outstanding value, or brought new innovations to the company.

“We hold our suppliers to a high bar,” said Steve Kiefer, GM senior vice president, Global Purchasing and Supply Chain. “They went above and beyond to deliver the innovations and quality that will help us earn customers for life.”

GM’s Supplier of the Year award is reserved for suppliers who distinguish themselves by meeting performance metrics for quality, executions, innovation, and total enterprise cost. Award winners represent companies who provide products and services to General Motors in the areas of vehicle components, supply chain and logistics, customer care and aftersales and indirect services.

“Lee Contracting is committed to developing long-term relationships with our clients that contribute directly to their operational bottom line value,” states Lee Sellenraad, Lee Contracting’s CEO. “GM is a primary example of this focus on value driven relationships. We greatly appreciate this award and are deeply committed to bringing GM unparalleled value as an integrated and collaborative member of their team.”

Lee Contracting would like to thank General Motors for selecting our company for the Supplier of the Year Award. We would also like to thank our employees for making safety our top priority and for providing exemplary service for 30 years.
