Lee Contracting Installs Structures And Systems for the First KINGFA (USA) Facility
Pontiac, Mich. – March 15, 2016 – Lee Industrial Contracting, Inc., a premier company in “Providing Turn-Key Solutions for Plant Projects,” completed manufacturing work for the grand opening of the first North American Kingfa Scientific and Technologies Co. (USA) facility in Canton, Michigan.
Headquartered in Guangzhou, China, Kingfa is a global leader of the advanced material industry producing modified plastics, special type engineering plastics, fine chemical materials, biodegradable plastics, wooden-base materials and carbon fibers. Their products are used in automotive, electrical hydraulics and construction, etc.
Lee Industrial Contracting set up the following at the new Kingfa facility:
- Fabricated, painted and installed two multi-level steel mezzanines
- Two extruder lines
- Two dust collection systems
- One cooling tower system
- Material handling system
- All electrical and pipefitting
By having all of the necessary trades In-House and being able to provide “Turn-Key” solutions, Lee Industrial Contracting was able to have all of the necessary structures and systems installed within two weeks to get the job complete for the grand opening ceremony on March 8, 2016. In the coming months, phase two will take place at the facility which includes installations of four additional extruders, injection molding machines, eight material silos and all associated equipment and piping.
