Lee Contracting Receives Grant from Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity

Lee Contacting is proud to announce they are the recipient of a grant from the Going PRO Talent Fund (Talent Fund), an award given by the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity – Workforce Development. Lee’s employees in Southeast and West Michigan will benefit from enhanced training and continuing education.

The need for professional tradespeople is greater now, more than ever. Having access to a highly skilled workforce is essential to a variety of industries across the state. Going PRO in Michigan was created to elevate the perception of the trades, while highlighting the amazing career opportunities to help keep Michigan growing.

The Talent Fund grant will allow Lee to expand on their customized, classroom and on-the-job training, as well as help Lee offer apprenticeships in eligible industrial contracting positions.
