Employee Owned Company Definition

Lee Contracting became an employee owned company on December 11, 2015 through the employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) process. This shift in ownership was created from over 20 years of private ownership with a central focus on creating value for our shareholders. Lee acknowledges that our employees are an integral part of how we perform and complete quality work.

Company Growth

Established in 1989, Lee began with only a handful of employees and has grown to 400 employees today with a continuous aggressive growth plan. Since Lee has become an employee owned company, we have expanded our crane fleet and our storage capacity by 500,00 square feet. The industry has taken notice of our growth with Lee Contracting being named in the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing privately owned companies in 2016 & 2017.
