Lee Contracting Makes 2016 Inc. 5000 List

Lee

Industrial Contracting has earned a spot on the Inc. 5000 list, ranking nationally at number 3,468 for fastest-growing privately owned companies. During the past three years, Lee Industrial Contracting has achieved a 92% growth with an annual revenue of $95 million. With hard work and a customer first mentality, Lee Industrial Contracting has been able to accomplish this growth and provide customers with an excellent experience from start to finish.

“As a company that always puts its customers first, it is rewarding to be recognized nationally for all of our hard work and accomplishments,” says Ken Labruyere, CEO of Lee Industrial Contracting. “We strive to be the best and to be included on a list that has recognized some of the most iconic brands, is truly an honor.”

Lee Industrial Contracting is one of 118 Michigan companies, and 62 companies from the Metro Detroit region to make the Inc. 5000 list. The list is a compilation of companies ranging from5000_color stacked advertising and marketing to engineering and manufacturing. Companies included on this list have an aggregate revenue of $200 billion and account for about 8% of all jobs created in the economy over the past three years.

Since opening in 1989, Lee has grown to over 300 employees and has an aggressive plan in place to continue growing each year by adapting to the needs of customers and hiring the best talent to keep up with a growing customer base. Along with hiring new employees, Lee continually looks to grow new services throughout the company. With their new machine repair division, they are able increase value to their customers through having the capabilities to maintain, troubleshoot, repair and rebuild their machinery. These new services will complement Lee’s full range of turn-key services customers have come to rely on over the years.

“The Inc. 5000 list stands out where it really counts,” says Inc. President and Editor-In-Chief Eric Schurenberg. “It honors real achievement by a founder or a team of them. No one makes the Inc. 5000 without building something great – usually from scratch. That’s one of the hardest things to do in business, as every company founder knows. But without it, free enterprise fails.”

Lee Industrial Contracting congratulates all the honorees on making the Inc. 5000 list and is honored to be included on a list with past honorees such as Microsoft, Chobani, Timberland and Zappos.com. We look forward to continuing to be on this list for years to come.
